Suzuki Graduation

Visible goals

There are 11 graduation Levels in Suzuki piano. When students have studied beyond the piece for each level, they may graduate - that is, they prepare a polished performance of the set piece.

Children and Parents study very hard towards their graduation piece, gaining confidence, pleasure and satisfaction once completed.  Whilst having a purpose, to graduate, they will grow higher and their ability widens, not just music but in all areas.

This is not an examination but a celebration of the achievement.

They are presented with a beautiful Graduation Certificate edged in gold, which comes from Japan and are screen printed from a painting done by Dr Suzuki himself.

All the children who graduate are able to perform at the Sydney Opera House every year.
